Hi guys,
Im heading down to Lorne for new years and have some questions if someone could help me out.
I was wondering if I should use a float for squid fishing on the pier or not and what time of day is best?
Also I was wondering how good the fishing is in Erskine River? and any beaches near to go surf fishing?

When I was last down there my missus caught a few using a jig from the top right hand corner of the pier casting straight out. Was late afternoon. Good luck
