Heading down Barwon heads/ocean grove for the weekend gentleman !
Anybody having any luck down this way fishing for snapper ?!?!
Thinkin about taking the boat but prefer an easy land based setup any feedback would be good thanks :-D

Hey mate,
Was up that way a couple weeks ago. No snapper for us at st Leonard's but loooads of squid there. We may have been a couple weeks too soon though so snapper could be around! Haven't heard anything of late though!

Always get salmon in the Barwon river flicking metals though.

Let us know how you go!

I was there a few days ago and it is strangely very muddy, normally the incoming tide is clean, I haven't seen it like that before.

Went past Thompson Creek in Breamlea while checking some surf this afternoon and saw around 6-8 people fishing. They were scattered from the mouth to about 600m upstream. The wasn't looking to dirty unlike the Barwon
