Hi all,
I've fished the Yarra a few times in Eltham at the end of Sweeneys Lane with no luck. Anybody know of spots that people are catching in that general area? Possibly Griffiths Park or Finns Reserve?

Plenty of fish available in that area - any of those spots you have mentioned will at the very least carp and eels.
Not knowing much about how you are going about things, there could be a number of things diminishing your odds. If all your attempts have been in the last month or two - cold weather could be contributing to that slowness.

Sweeneys lane is good walk updtream around the bend n fish the next pool upstream shrimp are great bait!
Anywhere from heidelberg up past wonga park is a great area for fishing the problem is limited bank access, ive always had better sessions the further ive had to walk!
As mentioned if fishing in the cold weather dont expect alot of action but if u do hook fish rest assured they will be a good size!
