Any reports on what's biting round Werribee/Altona
G'day all,
Gonna get out there this coming weekend (weather permitting) most likely nice and early. Aiming for Werribee/Altona and anywhere in between. \Any tips on what's been biting? Will be fishing off rocks/the pier (haven't fully decided). Probs gonna go equipped for either lure or bait and make a call on the day. Cheers!

The mozzies are biting hard. Just remember there is a daily kill limit of 1000.

I was there yesterday morning. Using pillis and soft plastics, berley everywhere and only caught a doughnut.
Even the crabs didnt take the bait.
Hopefully soon it all changes.

I have been there yesterday, tried to get some pinkies around Williamstown but manage only Port Jackson Sharks and a Banjo... ho yes a small Flathead just legal size  , we seen Dolphins chasing Salmon 200 m from the boat...... :super: then we went then to werribee and bag 20 squids (bit more than 4 Kg )... ... back to Altona boat ramp some guys there had a good bag of Whitings ( 20 or so ) 30 to 40 cm ...... ....
