Good work. I was actually out there for a few hours, no nibble. Everyone seems to gather up near the rocky section on the left side of the car park. I was using gulp on one rod and throwing around hard bodies.
Bought a new rod just for kicks, a tica graphite 6'6", mainly for SP and squidding!

You can catch them any time of the day but as mentioned, sunrise and sunset are good times. I believe their feeding habits are influenced by the barometric pressure as well. I do not like it when it is dropping. I had a look at the 24 hr history for Melbourne - I could see as far back as 8.10 am. For a couple hours after that the pressure was stable and then it started to drop consistently. I'm not sure what time you were there but I don't think it would help on a dropping pressure. Good effort on the fish too!!! As for your profile pic, try the 'user control panel' on top RHS of screen then 'profile' then 'edit avatar' - hopefully that will work.
thanks

Has anyone tried teh creek below the dam wall since they drained the lake? I hear that in the past it would produce a few fish as well.
