Where to fish land based??
Hey everyone.
I was just curiouse where everyone fishes this time if year?
I hear/read gunners isnt firing yet and im land based so cant go chase some lake trout.
Are the piers worth giving a crack? Maybe corinella? Or tooridin boat ramp?
Ive been surfing heaps recently and neglecting the rods but its time to get them out again
Cheers

plenty of table size gummies are still coming out the western port beaches. The squid are really starting to fire up especially in south ppb and if you are willing to put in the time there is the odd winter snapper being caught from port melbourne all the way to mt martha. Winter is a great time to fish

You can catch trout from impoundments. Such as Eildon pondage or the lake itself. It is the streams that are now closed to trout fishing.bigwatkins wrote:Hey everyone.

For this time of year the big squid should be starting to come in at Portsea, sorrento and flinders as the big breeders come into the bay.
