Melbourne land based spots

G'day folks has anyone land based fished the patto lakes/tooradin inlet/Maribyrnong river etc successfully for
Jewies and snapper anything other then bream really or know any other decent spots to try , cheers just moved from up north west and chasing something decent land based

Gday Barra1,

Deffinately jews get caught in both the nong and patto, no idea about tooradin so i'll let someone else talk on that behalf.
Never caught a jew in either system but seen many many photos and heard many many stories of big fish coming from both.

Good luck! Ive been hooked on Melbourne jews for a few years and still havnt got one here! Some people seem to pull them out quite frequently though so I guess you jut need to learn the waters
