Fished Surf Beach a couple of times early in the morning before the crowds arrived. Awesome time of day to be on the beach.
Got in to a quite a few salmon. Not huge, but not tiny either. Don't really keep count and return all my fish these days. Probably got a dozen.
All caught on pilchards, didnt get a touch on lures, just a few follows from midget bay trout (I assume).
