caught this earlier this year but thought i might share.
Went fishing for pinkies at black rock in rough conditions, hadn't caught much then my rod screamed off. thought it was a snapper at the start then i saw it surface and jump and saw how big of a salmon it was. After 15min of fighting got it in the boat. :r

Turned out to be my pb salmon. 2.2kg and 60cm :-D :-D

when they get to that size they certainly put up a good fight, great fun on light gear!

Yeah, i was using a light graphite rod and was alot of fun

I reckon they fight well above their weight 2.2 is a great fish for the bay if they only tasted like flathead. Well done

To be dead honest, I'm really glad they don't serve up that well. Could you imagine if they did..?..how many do you think would be left now..?
