Re: Wind
This is salmon weather if you can find some clearish water to cast into. Surf beaches are out, but it woudln't suprise me to hook one anywhere between the patto and portsea.
Plus you'll cast a slug a freaking mile.

Jus about every location until you got to Sorrento, would be wind in your face, generally that doesn’t help with casting. Or am I missing something outside.DougieK wrote:This is salmon weather if you can find some clearish water to cast into. Ok if you go by the app, thought there was more westerly in it, when I went outside.
Probably a few more spots that would be ok, than what I was thinking.

Re: Wind
Weather predictions are fickle, I was at st Leonards last Saturday night (last week) and wind was suppose to be under 10 knots through the night.. at approximately 10 pm it blew up to 20 and beyond.. saw the coast guard towing in a small half cab back to the ramp and it was disappearing in the swell..
