Hi all.
Never really fished for salmon before but thought i would give it a try. Im just wondering what is the best way to catch them. My plan was to troll for them but am not sure what is the best lure to troll. Ive heard Halco Twistys are good but so are simple squid skirts with a ball sinker inside.
Just wondering what everyone does to catch them?
Cheers.

Re: Trolling for Salmon
Agree with bowl here. The cheapest metal slugs from Kmart (about $3) work great on salmon. Getting your troll speed right is probably more important, you don't want your lures skipping on the surface.
