Barwon river donuts

Postby lauxyboy » Mon Jul 20, 2015 8:30 pm

Had an R.D.O today so decided i would pop down the barwon river for a few hours this arvy, got down there at the top of the tide, and fished for 2 hours till 5:30pm ish, not even a sniff but was a awesum arvy to be walking the mouth haven a flick, tried silver solid slugs, shiny green/silver and blue flashy with a pink stripe, got no luck at all, couple of beers was a perfect arvy!
Try again tomorrow, but think ill pump some one armed bandits and give them a crack again

Too bad about the lack of action! Have you fished there much and had better luck other times?
cheers

Pity about the lack of action, I've always had more success from low tide onwards casting into the deeper channels.

Rising tide a must there, and water needs to be cleanish.
