I saw a you-tube vid where the line is wrapped around the rod grip twice before casting so heavy sinkers wont cut your fingers.. you grip the line under your palm then let rip !

cold storage in -20 to -30 with nothing but a pair of cotten gloves skin around your nails splits not fun. treble covers are great apart from removing them an puting the trebels in your fingersCarlG wrote:Try being a carpenter. Yeah, I've got soft office worker hands so braid burn is a problem.
