Yeah Rixter, I use a similar rig. Swivel and clip at the end of the mainline. Then I clip on various trolling rigs all with double metal blade or hard plastic and a blade. Works a treat. I often have a plastic bead a small sinker and another plastic bead just in front of the blade, helps to get in down a bit.
Funny thing yesterday my wife let a lot of slack out as she was running it out and the lure hit the bottom, in 2mtrs, a flathead wacked it and got its self caught. Only landed 2 salmon yesterday, in a Cpl of hours. Interrupted by a line tangle and water police inspection.
Lost another 3, one right at the boat.

Just caught one an hr ago, nice fighting 40cm fish
Best so far: 47cm aus salmon, 41cm mullet, 40cm king George whiting , 38cm Bream, 35cm flathead, 33 cm pinky, squid 20cm. 2 sting rays caught caught, 1 took a rod as a souvenir. Need to catch snapper... :fish11:
