Been down there when it is absolutely mayhem. Soft plastics work well when this is happening.

Yea i have heard that aswel.. this was the first time I actually caught anything on lures.. and have never used soft plastics properly either but they are next on my " to do " list

Took my tinnie down and trolled around dragging metal lures, I had a few hook ups, than switched to soft plastics and was having double hook ups. Had the salmon swallowing the soft plastic and only the jig head was showing.

Dam nuisance when trying to release without too much damage to the fish.
