Name's Fishbref, Captain Fishbref; long time lurker, first time poster and some-time joker...

I like to catch fish and eat fish fish in equal terms, but I like to eat the fish that I catch more than the ones that I don't catch; maybe it's just psychological, and I don't know how that works out in percentages or what the relevance of it all is in the scheme of things here, but enough about me...

Thanks mate! (You don't happen to be Johnnie from St Vinnies who harvests land crayfish in his backyard after heavy rain by any chance? He's is also from FTG, and prefers catching to eating; I figure odds are I wouldn't be far off by a Longshot.) :crazy:

You should come to the "carp cull" day. When it finally gets organised. It's a bit all over the place at the moment. Supposed to be in the North end of town, but it's going a bit pear shaped at the mo.

However, when we do get our shyte together, it should make for a fun day. Lots of laughs and plenty of banter. Oh, nobody here tells lies either. Not even me !!!

Ex-saltwater boatie mate; sold my ship a couple of years ago, when work and fatherhood overtook fishing as my #1 & #2 hobbies.
