Barra Fisho Heading South

Post by natho » Sun Jul 10, 2011 2:53 pm

Hi everyone just joined the forum, house is on the maket here in darwin and looking at making the move down around the Mornington Peninsular. Mad keen on my fish and cant wait to pick everyones brains and make some new mates. leaving the barra boat up here cause i want something abit bigger. Originaly from VIC so i grew up diving and fishing the southern waters. Abit spoilt up here when it comes to the fishing but looking forward to heading back abit closer to the family and starting one ourselves. Once the house sells We have $20,000 set aside for the boat so im hoping to be able to find a nice rig. Hope i sell quick cause if i remember correctly isnt the A.F.L GFinal about the time to start nailing those reds. Hope to be down their soon and if anyones heading up here anytime soon let me know cause the mackeral, tuna and big muddies are thick. Tight Lines

thanks fellas, i have been getting the reports that its been an absolute freezing winter so far. something that i am actually looking forward to. Not hot and hotter. Crazy cod my best barra to date is 98cm. havent cracked the magic metre yet but have netted over a dozen in my boat, just not me on the end of it. hope the weather gets abit nicer and my house sells.
