G'day All from the Golden triangle.

Post by Kangaron » Mon Jan 01, 2018 1:24 pm

I joined this forum in 2012, in anticipation of cutting my workload and spending more time in recreational activities.
Sadly, life got on the way but that has now turned around.
We spend 4 or 5 days a fortnight in the Golden Triangle prospecting, usually in the early mornings, so have the afternoons free.
To fill that void I have just purchased a 3.75m Nomad, fitted with a 18 Tomhatsu.
Will have to add a Minn Kota or Watersnake.
I have only fished spasmodically over the last 30 odd years, the most recent being a week on the Wakool River.
So, as I get out and about will add to the reports.
I am in within a 30 minute drive from Cairn Curran, Laanecoorie and the Loddon River ramp at Bridgewater.

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Worth every cent, you can't win Bathurst in a volkswagon.

Here's a nice piece from a few years ago.
