Howdy

Post by M9085 » Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:27 pm

Long time reader, first time poster.

Hi everyone,
Live in Caroline Springs. Just came back into fishing after 12 year spell. Saving up for a boat, as the one I had was sold many years ago.
On another thread I have seen the Mc Lay boat. I think I want one myself.
Very rusty with all the techniques, but getting better with soft plastics. Never done it before. Haven't fly fished for over a decade. (am I really that old?)
Went couple of times to Brighton pier, with moderate success. Few Pinkies, and a decent Whitting about 43 cms.
Anyway if anyone needs a deckie for the day, please let me know :-D

Thanks to everyone for all the info they have posted.
Cheers,
John
BTW if I work out how to attach photos I will attach few as I go along.
