Have you seen the new safe harbour at portarlington it's going to be a top spot when finished. I fish 99% out of my boat not land based but always walk the piers for a look st Leonard's pier is a good spot have seen a few good fish from there the portarlington pier with the artificial reefs installed is picking up. Quenscliff pier is productive for squid but that's about all the marina is a good spot just have to pick your day tide rips through there I reckon the best spot is by the fence where you can see the ferry outgoing tide casting towards the old ferry pylons.

Welcome mate.
I also launch at mornington quite often.
If you see a white centre console polyboat come say hi.
The peninsula is an awesome place to be.
And you have gunnamatta beach for excellent surf fishing right at toe doorstep and the salmon season is just about to start Any day now

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
