Docklands fishing report Jan-Feb 2017

Post by aziz » Thu Feb 09, 2017 3:30 pm

Fished a number of times last month and this month in Docklands in the corner, in front of the AFL office. Caught 20-24 cm trevallys in high tides during lunch time and after office. Some 20 cm mackerel were caught around evening in high tide. There were plenty of undersized bream biting crazy around the pylons. Released the breams and kept the rest. Small trevallys bite slow whereas the bigger once never bite although you may be able to see them. Plenty of tiny/small mullet could be keeping the big trevallys full...

Nice! I saw a nice chunky bream landed recently on my lunchtime jog in front of the anz building. Always someone fishing that spot lately

It's a very shallow mud bank for at least 20 metres out in front of ANZ - great bream territory!
