Just imo, fishing was never realy supposed to be predictable. You go out whenever you get a chance and throw a line in with a bit of bait and hope for the best. As global warming progress fishing patterns alter and im not sure if any apps can realy predict the real future outcome of the same result. Unless your a scientist and doing research then this sort of app might be better aplicable however i still strongly believe that fishing is more fun been a game of chance. The app is a cool idea though

Yep, so instead of taking your paperback diary out and recording every detail for next year you can simply take a photo of the fish or the spot and it'll automatically record everything for next season.fishingvic wrote:Sounds interesting.
Is it like a fishing calendar/diary where you can record your catches by date, etc?

I'm a little concerned you haven't addressed the question of who the data is shared with?ollifysho wrote:Yep, so instead of taking your paperback diary out and recording every detail for next year you can simply take a photo of the fish or the spot and it'll automatically record everything for next season.fishingvic wrote:Sounds interesting.

Yep, I totally understand the concern, location privacy is our #1 priority!
Your fishing spots are NOT shared with anyone (including the guys working here), unless of course you chose to share your spots with family or friends.
We know how important this is to the community, it's probably the reason fishbrain hasn't taken off in Australia!

Nope! There will never be 3rd party accessrb85 wrote:Will any unrelated 3rd party be able to view the data from an individual will the owners of the app be able to do the same?

Hi Kenle, love the feedback, please everyone em' coming, the good, the bad and the ugly!Kenle wrote:Just imo, fishing was never realy supposed to be predictable. So, the App is a little bit more advanced than your regular Apps, we are using machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyse the data to start determining the trends and patterns in fish behaviour.
It's interesting and important that you noted global warming however this will just be another problem that we will have to learn to solve. At the end of the day fishing will always be a game of chance to a certain degree however the App just improves those chances when you wet a line.
Hopefully that answers your concerns?

Re: Looking for fishos to try a new Fishing APP!
Hey BG, it's Fysho! Fortunately we don't share many similarities with FishBrain!!BIG GAV wrote:Sounds like fishbrain.. what's the name of the app?
Fishbrain identifies as Facebook for fisherman and we are the opposite. We don't want to be a social media platform we want to be something that enhances the fishing experience for every fisherman and makes them a better fisherman.
The problem with Fishbrain is the data captured and then shared is not accurate, you will commonly see fishing spots record as being someones house. (Also note we don't share anyones fishing spots).
For example, when you upload a photo of the Snapper you caught over the summer in winter the weather information is of the day you upload it in the platform and not instantly. (Fysho captures instantly with 2 clicks, one to open the app, two to snap the photo)
Fysho is different as we use the META data associated with the photo to pull in the correct location and weather information. Our use of precision data and machine learning for accuracy and automation means that you get no bull!
