I see bait costs is keeping you from fishing more I suggest catch/collect your own, purchase some lures soft plastics maybe to get out there more.

Nah its not bait costs keeping me from fishing its the transport costs since bus fares here are 2.40 a trip 4.80 a session in and out of town.

Looked at collecting my own same issue as above with more gear gets hard.

Yes, cost of buying baits can be pretty high. Stocking squids is a good idea indeed.
Throw some breadcrumbs mixed with water and you'll attract some mullets.
Do a day trip to dig in some pipis around venus bay, or sandworms and yabbies during low tide. Stock them.

Issue with that here is transporting and keeping them in a single fridge i get out plenty enough even going out in a hour or so for abit so i can try to relax before doing some job interveiws.
