Happy New Year 2020 - Site hosting upgrade tonight

Happy New Year to all members!
Wishing you all a safe and happy welcome to 2020!
A special thanks to all the Premium Members who have recently renewed or those members who have taken new Premium Memberships to show your support.
We have actually been somewhat forced to upgrade our webhosting as the provider has introduced new and faster hosting plans.
So what better day to do this than tonight Jan 1st 2020 at 1AM.
The site may be down for between 4-8 hours as the DNS records are migrated over.
Hopefully this will have minimal impact on the site as you are all out celebrating the new year (or in bed
).

Well it all seems to be working, so must have been a success.
We were in bed by 10pm after a few drinks and eats. Woke up to a smoky new year.Bit of a cleanup around home today then a look at the weather for fishing. Better start to new year than those to the east and north of us.

There may be some down time from midnight tonight. It appears the hosting provider will perform the migration again tonight and update the nameservers. This will ensure that the DNS records have propagated by tomorrow morning.

May of happened by now but as of 4:40 am qld time its up and running perfectly fine.
