The missing man's body has been found.
Condolences to the family and friends.
And also thoughts go out to all the emergency personnel involved in the Search & Rescue/Recovery.
One point made in the above news article is to heed weather forecasts, especially if they are not favourable.
Southern Fishermen's Association chairman Garry Hera-Singh said most local fishers in the area pulled out their boats and fishing gear yesterday in preparation for today's bad weather.
99.9 per cent of the fishers had their boats up on their trailers last night because of the pending weather that was coming," he said.
This has been forecast for two or three days
Very few seem to take heed of the weather forecast so that's always a concern and I just can't stress enough that if you are going to come down and go out on the boat you need to keep an eye on the weather.
Let's all stay safe out there
Regards, Bill
