Hahaha decent banter going on here! Will be awesome to see everyone (except m&s) down there!

I'll make a good effort to be there. Can't make the cod trip this year so was looking for another FV catch up!
If only I could fish more

Will the squid be active in April? If it is worth trying...my local CA store has several brands of squid jigs including Daiwa Emeraldas Nude which I think I have heard good feedback about...may buy me one! If it is worthwhile to have a crack at them, any recommendations as to a good all round color I should choose (only want to buy one as I won't use them after this). Not sure how I will go but as I will be using my trout/redfin rod, which also doubles as a flathead/pinkie rod...may be asking a bit too much of it to use it as an egi rod as well! No wonder I never do that well with the fishing! :)
cheers

Buy a sephia 14T proven to do well.

But buy a $1000 egi rod first otherwise you wont catch squid ;)
