Im inland and probably because of a stuffed badly lower disc wont ever fish off shore like I did years ago in the 80's and 90's, im ok but if I was in a boat way out and it got nasty it wouldn't go well. So I choose not to. But if I could, and was out in those currents now, I'd try some tactics that those up in our warmer north use on the warm climate big boys now and then. One rod trolling or now n then jigging for what might not be expected down here. Nothing ventured nothing gained and given the report of the fish now venturing South, who knows. Id do it now and then for sure if I could.
