McLaughlins beach

Post by Defender130 » Fri Aug 03, 2018 12:17 pm

Hi all,

I'm looking at going to McLaughlins beach this weekend, somewhere near the mouth. Forecast winds 10-15kph mostly NNW with some NNE. Wondering if that is too windy at that spot?

Cheers

Thanks. I thought it didn't sound too bad, but someone mentioned it would be windy and it might be worse on the beach.

A light NW is just about the most ideal wind you can get for the 90 mile. A 15 knot NE might give you a bit of sidewash though. Strong easterlies pretty much make the whole beach unfishable
