2017 ASF Championship

Post by JS270 » Fri Feb 03, 2017 8:22 pm

Well once again the time has come and gone and once again we had a great time having fun, competing and catching up with friends from around the country. Sadly not everyone could make it for various reason but those of that were had a ball.

Condition over the two days whilst clear and hot weren't the best for getting any PB's though newcomer Daniel Cooper did reach a very good 191 meters for his first official comp with the club.
As per usual we had the issue of getting the gear sorted and setting up the shade and sorting out who would kick of proceedings but that was done and dusted quite quickly, not that it did any of us any good as the morning conditions were the worst with variable winds or none at all and plenty of heat.

Whilst we all had are fair share of crack offs and birds nest it was once again Daniel that put a smile on our faces with a sweet one.

What was really good though was the mateship at the event with everyone making it a top day with plenty of laughs and a cold drop after proceedings had finished for the day .

So once again we have to thank the SA crew for organising the event and sorting things out for those of us that made it across for the event.

Here's a short video of casting from Day two to close off the report.

Looking forward to the next comp wherever that may be :D
