Decided that since I had given a few of the other Pinkies that I took earlier and eaten my pair it would be a good idea to head out and try and tag a few more fish. Once again I was using the Century T800 as well as the TTUL-ST and must say that for this type of fishing the are a lot of fun. Whilst having the ability to put the baits out where I need to get them too , they also have the bite sensitivity to register the hits at range.
I was also please to get a few pan sized Flathead in this session . :D
( T800 Doing the deed on the Flathead :D )
The session was non stop for the most part with the pinkies keeping me busy , sadly there were a lot of smaller fish also on the chew and whilst fun to get the bites and land the fish they did deplete the bait supply quite quickly .
( One of the Pan Sized Ones that was kept )
It was interesting during the session that when the wind changed direction for a period and came from the east the fish shut down and didn't touch the bait for the whole time that it was blowing from that direction. Thankfully it swung back around the North westerly and when it did the fish once agin started hitting the baits with vigor
All in all it was a top session with enough activity from the pan sized fish to put a smile on my face. Sadly the bigger fish didn't want to come over and play but that can be for another day .
A reasonable feed for a few of us and with the Flathead for me a tasty bonus
Hoping for the bigger ones next time I head out
