With a public holiday being granted for Victoria , what better was to spend it than relaxing around the bay and putting a few baits out at range to target some of the Pinkies and Reds that are about at the moment.
The fishing is very relaxed as I park the car and fish from the car park only really moving to cast and wind in the fish when they hit. I was using the Century T800 as well as the TTUL-ST . both rods were matched to my Penn Squalls and I was using Pilchard on a clipped down pulley rig. Casts were in the 90 to 120 meter range as I had to be careful of the joggers , bikers and people just walking along the foreshore foot path.
Top day with little wind and nice warm sun making for a very lazy day indeed :D
Best eating size Pinkies
Crispy Fry the Skin and baked they go down a treat :D
Will be doing this again soon :D

Re: First Round
Rod stand is from England but there is one of the ASF members that makes them up for guys in the club. Best thing for looking after your gear as well as allowing you to fish with the reels in gear when using circle hooks .
