I haven't used one but it seems like an interesting idea. Lot of bad casting techniques in that video too

Great little device to help with casting but at $49 each .. think it will put off a lot of people (me included!!)

Give it a year or so and will get the overseas knock-off for a fraction of the price!!!

Can't get my head around why the price is so steep - if selling price is around half, think many of us will give it a go .. i definitely would!!! ... and probably have bought more than 1 unit too!!!

For now, will let my fingers do the working!!!

Or you could learn some reasonable technique....

Would like to hear what some of the ASF people have to say about this.

A good concept but too expensive and it just promotes bad habits . A few simple lessons and you could achieve better results at no cost and doesn't have to have one for the various rods that we all have.

But if people want to spend their money it does work at loading as long as the right breaking strain line is used in relation to the tension being set.
