Weapon of Mass Excitement

Post by GONE FISHING » Fri Feb 05, 2016 10:51 am

This is bloody awesome. Seen these ages ago, when they weren't yet patented. The idea is insane however I don't fancy the price nor lugging that down to some of the fishing spots Id like to go to.... Compressor and all

But getting bait out around 300m from shore... Impressive

No affiliation... Blah blah blah

They aren't legal here, you'll just have to learn how to pendulum cast instead.

Wouldn't spend over $1k to cast out baits anyhow. Just thought it was a cool concept. Gotta admire the land based shark fisho's determination though

I've come to the conclusion that distance from shore/water depth is overrated on it's own. You're much better off aiming for structure even if it is comparatively close to land. Of course I realised this after I spent a shitload on a couple of surf rods and casting reels designed to cast pretty extreme distances lol

Step 1: get boat/kayak
Step 2: place boat/kayak over fishing spot
Step 3: Drop baits straight down and dont worry about flogs stealing your spot when u catch a fish

Seriously though, that looks cool, but definitely illegal in vic. May as well just use a lemon gun.
