surf at lake bunga

Post by Tackleberry » Sat Jan 30, 2016 9:53 pm

well not much to report but it was better than sitting at home doing nothing and a bit of practice never hurts :a_goodjob:

AFAIC the conditions were nearly perfect for salmon with a bit of froth and a mild swell rolling in but now i

know what doughnuts are  heres a couple a pics and a short vid of my casting form if you can call it that.

cheers

:a_goodjob: don't worry about the donut, you don't catch fish sitting at home, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

It looks like you're casting at the white water. If you're fishing with bait you might be better off looking for a gutter, where the waves aren't breaking.

There is a great article about reading beaches here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGVArXsZm_w
