beer batter recipe

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup beer
2 teaspoons garlic powder
mix all in a bowl and put fish fillets in for 3 minutes before deep frying
add more flour if you want it thicker

i use this recipe for any fish i fry

i just cooked up some snapper fillets and KG whiting tonight with it the wife loved it

when I do a batter... I will whisk the eggs to just before soft peeks.... so its nice fluffy and aerated... then add to flourm salt and just a bit of water... but a splash of beer would be good too

the whisked eggs makes the batter go extra fluffy, crispy and dang good

Cooked some snapper last week very nice then the other day cooked snapper and some whiting for tea and ended up giving the snapper to the cats , no comprasin kgw is the best imo.

If you don't have any/want to use beer, soda water works well too, makes it really light

Hey, thanks for sharing beer batter recipe. My husband is fond of dishes that includes soda or beer. I am gonna cook this dish for him tomorrow, as tomorrow is our anniversary. Can you give me best cooking tips online which I can take care while making this?
