What’s this fish?

Post by Thomassssss » Wed Jan 10, 2018 6:54 pm

Caught this fella on squid while targeting flathead off the jetty in White Beach, Tasmania. Got on to an undersized flatty just before hand, so I thought I was on to a big one.

Anyone know what it is?

Ok to eat? I rate them right up there! Nice sweet meat. Much better than snapper that every one raves about. Just my opinion though.
