hey guys I caught 2 red mullet today but let them go because I couldn't find their size limit etc does anyone know the size/bag limit? also how do they taste?

Ther best tasting fish mate yumm ooooo um size limit i aint sure wather about i dont keep em un less there least 30+cm

I saw that but wasn't sure if they actually fell into the mullet family or not, but thanks for that

They are a type of goat fish - not mullet, despite the common name.

No size limit. As per regulations if not in the book then max bag of 5.
Commercial trawlers keep them down to about 10cm. They are small bycatch in the trawl industry, but they get a high price for them.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
