Not sure about driving directions, from memory, but when you do get there, watch out for the mud! There is a route around the point that is indirect, but will keep you on sand rather than mud. Everyone sinks into it the first time there ...

Gonna post results or do you want me to?? So i went down as well and there were 19 people and about 35+ rods set up everywhere. Not a single elephant or gummy just toadies on small rods and salmon. Stayed for six hours and it was very low tide don't know what was wrong. Went down to grantville pier saw some snake which was black but nobody got anything. Went to tenby point. NOTHING! Went to corinella and nothing. That day was horrible but the spot is normally 95% gummy or elephant in summer.

Pity you cant access Spit point land based on the opposite over on french island. Perfect sandy beach with deep drop off at any tide, non of this mud and crowds business.
