Thanks mate, still pretty early for me to start fishing for them I was just lucky yesterday. But can't wait! Really keen to see the catch rates in ppb this year with the ban on netting

Hey Gav, it looks like it's going to be a back to back saltwater club championship for you.
Well done! Saw your pic with the new Daiwa jacket in the club site.

Haha will see jeff! I like all the s/w comps this season so providing I can get spots onboard I'm in with a chance ha!

The new jacket stinks of bait already but better that than my nice clothes haha

Inspired move mate, well done.

I spent 5-6 hours a couple of days ago at sunset around Joe's and all I got was a yellowtail mackerel.

Tried Ricketts Point yesterday morning at sunrise and came back empty handed too.

So you've done really well!

And on that note, here's a comparison thanks to FB. Taken at Ricketts Point exactly 2yrs ago. Maybe I'm using wrong bait.

Good job Big Gav, very nice, :nicefish!: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
