Not sure if banana prawn would work at lagoon. It works so well on that side of WP because of the crabs and shrimp and similar species that the gummies feed on.

I reckon the humble pilchard would work better at Lagoon Pier. If you're worried about the bait coming off you could buy fishing twine which is very thin and use it to tie your bait to your hook. I use it on the surf when I am fishing whole pilchard.

The other gun bait I have found in PPB, especially the top end of it, is pippies. I have caught countless good sized pinkies on pippies. One of the pinkies I gutted had its guts full of pippies and worms.... Good luck mate :thumbsup:
