If you hook onto something decent size, you will need a good cliff gaff or a very long gaff to land the fish there.

Well put it this way, my mate and I bought one which came with 2 sections attached which I estimate to be around a metre each. We ended up ordering and buying another 5 sections to attach to the original gaff

And go as light as possible. I remember the first time we went and took a lot of gear, bait, burley etc and the walk back up the cliff was a nightmare with the fish we caught as well lol
