Anzac Day Arvo , Fishing For Pinkies & Bream .

Post by Fish-Hunter » Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:16 pm

I went back to Geelong this arvo on Anzac Day , went to the same spot as i have for the last few weeks & without fail the Bream & Pinkie's were biting . I released many Bream & Pinkies & kept 2 Bream @29.5cm & 2 Pinkie's one was 42cm & the other 48cm . Boy they fight well on light Bream gear & 6lb line . ;)

Good results considering conditions!

Great catch Miker it's good to see land based action for pinkies is still on at this time of the year. I know some people dont like to give away spots but the thrill and chance to catch pinkies/snapper from land is preety good as you know. Are you willing to be a little bit more specific in which area of Geelong you fished.

Lets just say between the Gramer school lagoon & eastern beach , some recon & work your tides & times with fresh bait will see some results . ;)

Hey Miker can we test the generosity a little bit further. Can you let me know if it was from sand, rock or platform? :help:
