any luck landbased down WP of late?

Hi all, havent been for a fish for a while due to welcoming the latest addition to my family being my daughter.
Looking to head towards WPB or Phillip Island land based over the w/end, anyone had any success lately?

I gave the gummys a crack at one of the WP beach's on sat night just gone and didnt turn a reel. Lines in at 10pm, lines out 5.30am(high tide was 3.30am) so gave it a decent crack. A former forum member from here, got a 1m gummy on the sunday night at the next beach down, so you just never know....

Mornington heard chatter of whiting from one of the boat guys on the radio, dont know how much help that is but there was some guy in a kayak in the shipping channel lol they had to tell the brisban dredge to look out for him. Monday arvo

I saw some nice fish caught at Cowes pier on the long weekend.
I had the boat and only managed 3 ting, should of drank cans on the pier.
