We already have a thumbs up button in the smilies, maybe it can be in bedded in each post to click on with out having to bring up all the smilies to select it ? good idea Brett ... :thumbsup:

I couldn't agree more with you Dougie. I read some of the advice given and shake my head, where the poster is obviously recalling from hearsay and not experience. Maybe we have a "dislike" button too.

But in my defense I usually only offer it up when no one else is offering much help.

The species comp is a good way to judge whose advice is worth listening to - if I start giving expert advice, a quick look at the SC leaderboard will tell you I'm probably full of crap.

It's funny how FEW actually take part in this comp and then comments like this which proves it's an ego thing. There are plenty on here who are great fishermen but don't brag about every fish they catch. :water:
