Last year I caught my biggest snapper at 6.3kg during the day at T22. So yes they do bite during the day but you have much better chances during first light.

My Wife was with me when I caught my best so she's convinced you don't have to get up early.

Maybe your wife is doing you a favour , i tell you man am just about over getting up early or fishing all night just to catch a Snapper & even then you can go without smh . i have personally caught some of my best Snapper in the middle of the day , so dont concern yourself too much . :)

yeah having a hired boat limits you to restricted hours but i still love it! i finally get to go on a boat!! LOl and im steering! ahoy there captain! :P

but yeah i guess it is hard.. cause when i was out there in the bay.. about 20 boats were in a circle trying for some.. but none were pulling anything... i guess you just gotta be there at the right time..

goodluck guys

Doing me a favour... Probably right, it does seem for nothing when you get nothing but this season I hope will be a better season for me.

Being in a boat weather fishing or cruising is pretty cool. Glad to hear Vinhii you enjoyed the experience.

Didn't think they get that big in PPB, thought you'd needed to head out to Western Port... Best of luck.

Fish-cador, if you interested in hiring boats, Google "Boab Boat Hire". They have hire boats are they are new. Everything you need in it.

I thought tackle, bait and fish included? :lolf:

Not bad. Are those "daily" rates for 24 hours, 12 or 8? The issue is that they require boat license. Not many have boat lic specially non-boat owners....

That's the bad part, you need a licence but not hard to get these days.
