Freshwater bait in salt and vice versa
Whose tried what in which sort of water and what did you catch?.. I've used garden worms at sandringham breakwall and managed a very small pinky n a few bites, have also tried a pillchard in fresh but didn't have any luck

I have heard that nippers work well on Golden Perch. Never used them myself, but some friends that live near Wentworth said people were using them near the lock and were outcatching the locals with them.

I've never tried it but i have heard of people using pilchards at eildon and catching trout on them. i tried sardines out of the can but no luck :down:

I saw some guys using garden worms at the bridge at swan bay and they had a few big breams.

I've been totally out of Bait during a good Saltwater session and found a pack of Rainbow Powerbait in my bag. I caught a Flathead with each cast on it. LoL.
However I've caught Flathead using an elastic band too, so I'm not sure if its an endorsement.
