Dough Bait

What recipies does everyone use for dough, i tried some the other day at Balcombe for Mullet, I only caught 4-5 Mullet. Hoping for a little more. They were all tiny. Also is the beach at Balcombe any good

Fresh white bread kneaded with a little oil from a can of sardines, works great on gars, mullet etc.

Could I use it from a Tuna or Salmon Can

Yeah any flavour will do, the oil helps make the dough a bit more water resistant so won't come off the hook as easily.
