Anyone know if I can use this for anything?

Post by MsShimano » Mon Feb 20, 2017 8:29 pm

Found this when I cleaned out my tackle box (as I got A new one when I got sponsored with Shimano!!!)
Can I catch anything decent or should I just throw it out?

Thanks :)

Yes, i have an uncle who uses that to catch bream. He cast a line with it around rocky beaches and it tends to be very effective.
Overall it is a soft plastic crab lure that is used for bream and any other fish that live near rocky beaches and predominantly eat small rock crabs.

Good luck with it and I would love to hear how it goes if you do decide to use it! :water:

Uncle has caught several stingrays off it as well however bream are much more common to catch with a SP crab.

this thing is a bit big for bream. about double the size of a cranka and quite heavily weighted. that w hook it's poured around is something like sz1 - sz2/0. be good for dropping onto snapper
