Hi:
I heard that sardines are good bait and much cheaper than pilchards. Does anyone use them, I think they may even be the same fish as a pilchard but I have no idea. Anyone know where I could buy a kg of sardines from in Geelong, not even sure where the fishmongers are. Thanks.
Anyone buy sardines from a fish shop?

I tried googly, the first place I went to didn't have any, the second place had closed down and the building demolished so I was hoping not to waste more time and energy. Salting them is a good idea.
