if u want mullet, try The nong or patterson river.. try fishing the mullet in the morning say 7am till 11am.. i find these times are good in catching mullet.

Try a few types of bait for mullet like, bread, bread soup, bread crumbs dough, chicken..

Make sure u do bread soup burley before trying to catch the mullet, if they are not there within an hour, try another spot..

The jetty at blind bight is normally good for mullet and salmon, obviously only fisheable over high water.
Cast, catch and put it back

Huge school of mullet and salmon lingering at the mouth of Werribee river last week. incoming tide with Chicken on patternoster rig did the job with bites every cast. heading over tomorrow, will report back!

go to lagoon pier i have been pretty consistent there usully get around 10-20 salmon. but some people dont get much there from what i have heard from my mates.
